GOVERNMENT MEDICAL COLLEGE, SECTOR,
32-A, CHANDIGARH
Applications alongwith non-refundable fee
of Rs. 100/- (Rs.25/- in case of SC/ST/PH candidates), by means of Demand Draft drawn in
favour of Director Principal, GMCH, payable at Chandigarh are invited in the proforma
appended below for filling of 90 posts (Gen.-52, SC-13, OBC-24 & PH-03) of Junior
Residents from amongst MBBS candidates and 02 posts from amongst BDS candidates for a
period of six months commencing from 01.01.2006 to 30.06.2006. A stipend of Rs. 9400/-
(Inclusive of NPA) + Allowances will be given. The age limit is 30 years for General
Category candidates, 35 years for SC/ST, 33 years for OBC and 40 years for Physically
Handicapped candidates. The reservation will be given as per Government policy. However,
in case no suitable candidate from the reserved categories is available, the post shall be
filled up from amongst the candidates belonging to General Category. The last date of
receipt of applications is 12.12.2005 upto 5.00 P.M in Block- ‘D’, Hospital
Buildings Complex, Dairy & Despatch Section, Sector 32-B, Chandigarh. The written test will be held on 18.12.2005 at 11.00 A.M. The Roll Nos. of eligible candidates
for written test will be displayed on the notice board of College Building on 16.12.2005.
The result of written test will be displayed on the notice board of the college on
20.12.2005 at 3.00 P.M. The date of Interview will be displayed on the notice board with
the declaration of the result of written test. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the
written test and for attending the interview.
Note:
-
1.Candidates,
who have already done their Junior Residency of one year are not eligible to apply.
2. Candidates, who are completing their internship
from GMCH, Chd. on 31.12.2005 as internal interns are exempted from the written test.
3. Applications received without requisite
fee, passport size photograph and attested copies of testimonials will be rejected.
